this is a supercell thunderstorm cloud. thanks to global climate change, these are becoming more and more common. given that the dramatic and devastating changes we have set in motion will happen even if we reduced our carbon emission to zero tomorrow, we might as well enjoy the beauty. there is going to be quite a show to watch in the coming decades.
